CAF 9th Contingent returned from KFOR
Members of the 9th Contingent of the Croatian Armed Forces who, during the last four months were deployed in the NATO peace support operation KFOR (Kosovo Force) returned today, July 19, in Croatia.
The welcome ceremony in the 91st Air Force Base Pleso, along with family members, was attended by the CAF Command Operational Centre Commander, Brigadier General Vlado Šindler, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, Brigadier General Dražen Šćuri and representatives of MOD and CAF GS.
In front of the 19 members of the Contingent, Brigadier General Vlado Šindler expressed satisfaction with the fact that all the planned tasks of the Contingent were conducted in the highly professional manner, and Brigadier General Dražen Šćuri congratulated all members on the excellent work done. Commander of the 9th Contingent, Major Saša Crnec, emphasized the full performance and high efficiency of this and all previous Croatian Armed Forces contingents in KFOR peace support operation.
