CAF cadets attend Officers’ Ball in Vienna
The cadets of the Croatian Defence Academy “Dr. Franjo Tuđman”, led by the Commander of the Academy Major General Mate Pađen on 18 January 2019 attended the Officers Ball in Vienna.
It was their second participation as guests of honour at the Ball held in the Hofburg Palace, alongside the cadets of the Theresian Military Academy and senior citizens of the Austrian Armed Forces . and senior officials of the Republic of Austria..
The Officers Ball has been a tradition since 1926, seeing a participation of Croatian cadets in 2008. The Ball takes place in the Imperieal Palace (Hofburg) and is opened by the cadets of the Theresianum and the cadets of the country invited as the guest of honour.
During their visit to Austria Tthe cadets visited the Theresian Military Academy in Wiener Neustadt and the Museum of Military History in Vienna and met with the Croatian Ambassador to Austria, H.E. Vesna Cvjetković.
