CAF cadets on winter camp in Delnice

The camp was attended by 28 cadets from Zagreb and Split, led by Cadet Battalion Commander Major Vlasta Zekulić and platoon leader Captain Marko Kadija. The training with cadets was conducted by members of the Special Operations Battalion.

The training with cadets was focused on advanced skiing techniques and basic skills and techniques necessary for successful performance and survival in extreme winter conditions. Training consists of theoretical and practical part, and includes the following: geography and characteristics of mountains, small arms and firing techniques, topography, first aid, mountaineering, mountain-moving in wintry conditions, improvised shelters, survival training in the winter, staying in mountain-winter conditions (24 hours) and physical preparations for all camp participants.
