CAF canadairs localized fire in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Based on the decision of the Croatian Government, on Sunday, 6 May 2012, two fire-fighting aircraft Canadair CL-415, with two crews of six members of the Croatian Armed Forces, were sent to Bosnia and Herzegovina for providing humanitarian assistance in extinguishing the fire in the Konjic municipality.
Planes with their crews were sent from the 93rd Air Force Base in Zemunik at about 14.00 hours, and in about two hours localized the fire, thereby throwing out 200 tons of water taken from Jablanica Lake. They returned to the home base in Zemunik around 18.00 hours.
