CAF General Staff delegation visits 24 HRVCON
The delegation of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, headed by Major General Mate Pađen, with the General Staff’s Operations Centre Commander, Brigadier General Ivan Jurić, and Lieutenant Colonel Darko Vuković from 30 November to 5 December 2014 visited the 24 HRVCON in its area of deployment.
Major General Pađen met with the ISAF Deputy Commander, Lieutenant General Carsten Jacobson, with whom he reviewed the previous successful co-operation and participation of the Croatian Armed Forces members in ISAF and expressed mutual hope of equally successful continuation within the „Resolute Support“ mission in 2015.
In the Camp Marmal the delegation was received by the Contingent Commander, Colonel Slobodan Kratohvil, who briefed them on the tasks and activities by the Contingent components, and MG Pađen presented the members with NATO medals.
The delegation also met with the Commander of the Regional Command North in charge of training, advising and support, Brigadier General Harald Gant.
