CAF helicopter urgently transported injured worker from Korčula

CAF helicopter MI-8 MTV transported today, 30 March 2012, injured worker from the island of Korčula to Dubrava Clinical Hospital in Zagreb.

A worker suffered injuries to his hand fingers, and emergency transport by helicopter was requested so doctors from Dubrava Hospital could perform surgery to rescue fingers within 6 hours.

Also, this morning, thanks to quick intervention of the Air Force and Air Defence, one patient was transported from Hvar to Split Clinical Hospital.
