CAF helicopters transported ten patients over the weekend
During this weekend, 16 and 17 July, ten patients were transported to Clinical Hospital Split with the emergency medical helicopter flights by CAF Mi-8 MTV and Mi-8 T helicopters.
On Saturday, July 16, three patients were transported from the island of Hvar, and on Sunday, July 17, seven patients, of which two from the island of Brac, Hvar and Lastovo, and one patient from the island of Vis. Among the ten patients were two tourists from Austria and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland who were on holidays on Hvar and Lastovo.
Also, on Sunday, on July 17, six members of the Croatian mountain rescue service from Split were transported to Velebit Mountain to rescue caver from the pit at Kita Gacesina near Crnopac.
