CAF members will vote on a national referendum on accession to EU

Members of the Croatian Armed Forces will vote on national referendum on the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the EU, which will be held on Sunday, 22 January 2012, the same as other citizens at the polling stations of their residence.

For CAF members who will not be able to vote at the polling station of their residence, two polling stations in the Republic of Croatia will be organized where a total of 120 voters – CAF members will be able to vote.

CAF members who will be serving in peacekeeping operations and missions abroad on a day of referendum, will be able to vote in four polling stations – three polling stations in Afghanistan (ISAF operation – total of 344 voters – CAF members) – Kabul (Warehouse Camp), Mazar-e-Sharif (Marmal Camp and Mike Spann Camp), and at one polling station on the Golan Heights (UNDOF mission – total of 95 voters – CAF members) in the Faouar Camp.

In Kosovo, in the KFOR peacekeeping operation, CAF members (22) will be able to vote at the polling station at the diplomatic-consular mission of the Croatia in Pristina, the same as other Croatian citizens in that country.

Polling stations in the Armed Forces in the Republic of Croatia will be opened as all other polling stations in the Republic of Croatia, on Sunday, 22 January 2012, from 7.00 to19.00 hours, while voting at polling stations in Afghanistan and the Golan Heights will be held on 22 January 2012, from 7.00 to19.00 hours local time.
