CAF Pilatus crew found a missing Czech tourist
Standby crew of the Coast Guard with Pilatus PC-9 M aircraft from the composition of the Fighter Squadron of 93rd Air Force Base this morning, August 10, at about 06.15 hours found the missing Czech tourist in the area of the Northern Adriatic, in the Rta bay of island of Prvic.
The crew took off from the Zemunik barracks at 06.00 hours and 15 minutes later the search crew spotted the dinghy with the missing tourist, and immediately informed about the same the Port Authority of Rijeka.
Czech tourist sailed out yesterday, August 9, at around 16:00 hours from Sveti Juraj (St. George) near Senj to Baska. The missing tourist was reported last night, and thanks to prompt and effective search of CAF Air Force pilots, action was successfully completed and tourist from the Czech Republic was rescued.
