CAF Task Force formed to eliminate consequences of snowfall
Based on the orders of Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović, today, 4 February 2012, a Task Force (NOS) of the Croatian Armed Forces will be formed, that will be used, as necessary, to eliminate the consequences of snowfall in Dalmatia.
Approximately 200 members of the Guards Motorised Brigade of the Croatian Army will gather in barracks in Knin, Sinj and in Lora Naval Base in Split. Their involvement will depend on the needs and requirements of the National Protection and Rescue Directorate and local authorities. On the eventual details related to the possible involvement of CAF for the above purposes, the Ministry of Defence will regularly inform the public.
