CAX 2012 Exercise in the Croatian Military Academy

On the occasion of the CAX 2012 exercise, a Distinguished Visitors’ Day was held on 17 May 2012 in the Croatian Military Academy “Petar Zrinski”.

The event was attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Rear Admiral Zdenko Simičić, Operational Centre Commander Brigadier General Vlado Šindler, Deputy Commander of the Army Brigadier General Zvonko Peternel and representatives of CAF services and General Staff directorates, as well as a representative of the National Protection and Rescue Directorate.

Staff computer assisted exercise (CAX) was conducted from 14 to 18 May 2012 in the Croatian Military Academy and Simulation Centre, and the exercises involved teachers and students of the War College, Command and Staff College, Advanced officer training, high NCO training, and other HVU employees. The exercise involved staff from the Simulation Centre and CAF Training Centre for international military operations.

The exercise has been conducted on the basis of the HVU curriculum in accordance with NATO guidelines for the preparation and implementation of the exercises.

CAX 2012 exercise has been held for the eighth time in succession, and is the top education event of the training of students in the Croatian Military Academy.
