Chief of General Staff visits Kosovo and KFOR
Chief of General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Drago Lovrić on 16 and 17 April 2012 has been on a visit to the Republic of Kosovo, KFOR, and members of the Croatian Armed Forces who have been deployed in KFOR.
During a visit to Kosovo, Chief of General Staff met with the Minister of Kosovo Security Forces Agim Ceku and the Commander of Kosovo Security Forces Lieutenant General Kadri Kastrati.
During the official talks they exchanged views on current major activities and projects, both in Kosovo Security Forces and in the Croatian Armed Forces.
The Republic of Croatia strongly supports the building of peace and stability in the region and all forms of regional security and defense cooperation. As part of this support, possible forms and areas of cooperation between the Croatian Armed Forces and the Kosovo Security Forces, particularly in the field of education, were discussed at the meeting.
