Chief of GS CAF visits Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Mirko Šundov paid an official visit to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina from 3 – 5 October 2017.
At the meeting with the staff of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the Chief of the Joint Staff, Lieutenant General Anto Jeleč and of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovinathe Croatian delegation discussed the regional security situation and new challenges, the bilateral and regional military co-operation, education and the study programme of the Croatian Defence Academy (“Kadet“) as well as the education and training of pilots.
The two sides presented proposals for the future co-operation, with the emphasis placed on border-area co-operation in the event of natural disorders such as floods and fires.
The hosting delegation displayed the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) equipment in operational service in the Armed Forces of B&H, through the Exercise “EOD Team Response to Improvised Explosive Device“.
