Chief of the General Staff visits Bosnia and Herzegovina
During a three-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovrić on 22 October 2015 met with the Deputy Defence Minister for Policy and Planning, Ph.D. Emir Suljagić and with the Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Anto Jeleč.
During the talks with the Deputy Minister of Defence, General Lovrić pledged the continued support by the Croatian Armed Forces to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina with their accession to NATO.
The staff talks with the Chief of the Joint Staff, Lt. Gen. Jeleč focussed on the possibilities to enhance the bilateral military co-operation, primarily in the domains of education and training, and the regional co-operation within the projects of common interest.
The Croatian delegation visited the Barracks in Rajlovac, attending the exercise “EOD team reaction to encountering an IED“ in the Mine Clearance and EOD Operations Centre of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
