Croatian Air Force experts service Macedonian helicopters
An expert team of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, led by Cpt. Vlastimir Lončarić has been dispatched to Skopje, Macedonia to assist the Macedonian colleagues with the upgrade of the flying condition of the Macedonian Air Force helicopters.
The team is staying in Macedonia until 23 January, to conduct technical inspection and servicing of the IRE equipment (by using the respective measurement equipment).
The team members boast years-long experience with the Mi-8 helicopters and all the models used in the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence previously. It is mostly manned by members of the Air Technical Battalion of the 91st Air Base, which in 2014 successfully completed the 1000-h periodical inspection of the Mi-171 Sh helicopters.
