Croatian Air Force took part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of aviation in Croatia
Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, participated on Sunday, August 29, on the air show which was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of aviation in the Republic of Croatia on the Sports airport in Lucko.
The marking of the 100 anniversary of aviation in the Republic of Croatia was attended by more than a hundred different aircraft of all types, paragliders, parachutists, acrobatic pilots and modelers. Visitors could also see the flight of Croatian Air Force aircraft MIG-21. Great interest of visitors caused the appearance of acro-group “Wings of Storm,” which presented the flying skills, discipline, and teamwork, and paratroopers jump from a multi-role helicopter Mi-171 Sh.
Also, the Ministry of Defence presented the projects of attracting the new staff in the CAF.
Air show, held under the auspices of Croatian President Ivo Josipovic and organized by Aero Club Zagreb and the Zagreb Air Alliance, visited tens of thousands of visitors.
