Croatian Armed Forces and the Army of Montenegro
The delegations of the Croatian Armed Forces and of the Army of Montenegro, headed by the respective Chiefs of the General Staffs, General Drago Lovrić and Admiral met at Kupari on 1 December 2015.
The Croatian delegation included the Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, Major General Dražen Ščuri, the Commander of the Croatian Navy, Commodore Predrag Stipanović, the Head of the Planning Directorate of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Commodore Marileo Staničić and Major Tomislav Lukačić, and the Army of Montenegro was represented by Captain (N) Darko Vuković , the Montenegrin Navy Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Svetozar Brajković, the Head of the G3/7 Department, Commander Darko Knežić, the Head of the G 5/9 Department, and Lieutenant Colonel Aleksandar Pantović, the Head of the Office to the Chief of the General Staff.
The two delegations discussed the perspectives of the bilateral military co-operation and the regional initiatives, as well as the possibility of the co-operation of the navies in the Adriatic Sea pollution prevention programmes and the continued joint participation in the “Resolute Support“ . The talks also covered the implementation of the BRAAD and ASDE, and the co-operation within the Adrion Initiative.
The Croatian delegation conveyed the valuable Croatian experience from the EU-led operations and the NATO accession and integration process.
