Croatian firefighter force extinguish fire in Israel

 A crew of the  Firefigher Squandron of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence on 5 June 2017 took part in a firefighting  intervention  near the town of  Beit Guvrin in Israel.

During the joint training activity of the Firefighter Squadron of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence and the Israeli force, a fire broke out in the Beit Guvrin area in central Israel, and the Croatian air forces immediately headed towards  the fire site.
The fire was successfully put under control in joint efforts of the Croatian and Israeli forces.
The members of the Firefighter Squadron of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence (flying two  Canadairs CL-415 stayed in Israel from  4- 8 June 2017 for joint training with the Israeli air forces, pursuant to the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding in defence signed in March 2017.
The training co-operation was initiated by the Israeli forces following the efficient and successful firefighter interventions early in 2017.
