Croatian Navy Cutter Rowing Competition
On 10 April 2013 the Croatian Naval Base (“Lora”) crew won the finals of the cutter rowing competition organised in the Base.
The competition in the 0.43 NM /800-m long lanes gathered four teams of the Croatian Navy. The first runner-up was the Croatian Navy Flotilla crew, succeeded by the Coast Guard (second runner-up) and the Coastal Monitoring and Reporting Service Battalion crews (third runner-up) respectively.
The Commander of the Croatian Navy Training Centre, Capt. (N) Ivan Vuković presented the certificates to the winners and extended congratulations to all competitors on behalf of the Navy Commander, Capt (N) Robert Hranj.
The Competition was organised to mark the NCO and Enlisted Year, as an event aimed at raising the level of individual trainedness and at maintaining the expertise, skills and capabilities of the NCOs and enlisted soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia.
