Croatian Navy vessels return from Trident Juncture 15

The “Cetina” and “Krka” , landing craft minelayers of the Croatian Navy on  13 November 2015 returned to the Lora Navy Port after a month-long engagement in the “Trident  Juncture  15” in Spain.

The homecoming  ceremony was attended by the crews members’ families, the Croatian Navy Commander, Commodore Predrag  Stipanović, the Navy units’ commanders and members, as well as the representatives of the Croatian Army.
The Navy Commander, Commodore Predrag Stipanović praised the crews  performance, safely carrying  the contingent of the Croatian Army to the Exercise location 2700 nautical miles off the Adriatic. 
“The engagement to Trident Juncture showcases the capability of the Croatian Navy members to carry out any assigned task. A week ago, on the occasion of the homecoming of the Croatian participants to the Operation Triton I underlined the fact that it was the first presence of three Croatian Navy vessels in the Mediterranean, of which we are truly proud. It is of immense importance for the Croatian Navy, which has demonstrated its capabilities, among whom the carriage capability pf the two landing craft minelayers“, said Commodore Stipanović. 
The Commander of the Croatian Navy Flotilla, Captain (N) Damir Dojkić expressed satisfaction over the Navy’s achievements in the current year.
“We had lengthy preparations, during which the Commander of the fleet determined the optimal route towards Spain in terms of safety and efficiency, based on the weather information provided.
The Commander of the Navy Task Force, Lieutenant Commander Ivica Pavić  expressed the honour  with being assigned the duty. 
“I would like to express appreciation to the crews members  for co-working as a team – almost as a family, enabling the professional and responsible conduct of the mission, to the pride of the Croatian Navy“, said LCDR Pavić.
