Croatian Officer Corps visits BSD

Representatives of the Croatian Officer Corps led by its Chairman, retired Colonel Rosario Rozga, visited today, June 1, the Special Operations Battalion (BSD) in the “Drgomalj” Barracks in Delnice.

The representative of the Minister of Defence and Chief of Staff, BSD Commander Colonel Dražen Ressler received them.

The visit to BSD was organized under the 11th meeting of reserve officers and NCOs called “Rijeka 2012” which have been organized on 1 and 2 June 2012 in Primorsko-goranska County, in cities Delnice, Rijeka and Kraljevica attended by officers and NCOs from Virovitičko-podravska, Koprivničko-križevačka, Karlovačka, Istarska, Primorsko-goranska, Sisačko-moslavačka, Krapinsko-zagorska, Šibensko-kninska, Požeško-slavonska and Zagrebačka County and from City of Zagreb.

During the visit, representatives of the Croatian Officer Corps were given presentation on the BSD activities and had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with weapons and military equipment used by this unit. On this occasion, wreaths were laid and candles lit at a memorial cross in the “Drgomalj” Barracks.
