Defence Minister congratulates Croatian sailing medalists
Croatian Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović sent congratulations to Croatian gold winning sailors Šime Fantela and Igor Marenić (men’s 470 class) and to the bronze winner Tonči Stipanović (laser class) at the Sailing Cup in Spanish Palma de Mallorca (held from 29 March to 5 April 2014).
“Dear Šime and Igor, on behalf of the members of the Croatian Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defence and on my personal behalf, I congratulate you on taking the gold in the 470 Class at the World Sailing Cup in Spain, for the first time in 12 years, proving your and the Croatian sailing’s world-class quality”.
Dear Tonči, congratulations of the members of the Croatian Armed Forces and the Ministry, as well as on my personal behalf go to you too, on another the bronze medal in the laser class at the same Championship.
We are proud to have you with us in the big family of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia”, said Minister Kotromanović.
Šime Fantela, Igor Marenić and Tonči Stipanović have been members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia since March 2011, pursuant to the Agreement on Co-operation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Olympic Committee on promotion and development of sport in the Republic of Croatia.
