Delegation of Committee for the Defence visits Croatian Military Academy
In order to familiarize with the structure, tasks and achievements of the Croatian Military Academy (HVU), delegation of the Defence Committee of the Croatian Parliament visited HVU on Tuesday, May 25.
The delegation was led by Chairman Boris Sprem, and among the guests were members of the Committee Zeljka Antunovic, Vesna Pusic and Tomislav Culjak, as well as external members Predrag Matic, Petar Stipetic, Branko Seric, Igor Tabak and Anton Tus. Apart from host, HVU Director Major General Mirko Sundov, on behalf of the MOD guests were greeted by MOD State Secretary Zeljko Gorsic and on behalf of the Croatian Armed Forces by Deputy Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Slavko Baric.
Program of the visit began with a presentation of the HVU briefly presented by General Sundov. A discussion about the presentation and questions and suggestions of members of the Committee followed. Guests later visited several HVU facilities in the barracks in which education takes place. “Presentation and tour provide direct insight into the work of the Croatian Military Academy” said Chairmen Sprem.
