Delegation of Danish Armed Forces visits Zemunik

The five day working visit of pilots of the Danish Pilot School to the 93rd Airbase of the Croatian Air Force in “Zemunik” Barracks ended on Thursday, May 20. The visit was continuation of a standing successful cooperation between the Croatian and Danish Air Force, and of 93rd Air Force Base squadron and Pilot School of the Kingdom of Denmark.

During the visit of the Danish delegation, led by Commander of the Pilot School Colonel F.S Rasmussen, the experience in training pilots were exchanged, and one of the joint activities were also flying of the Danish and Croatian pilots in navigation and in the group on school aircraft, where the crews were mixed.
Croatian Pilots also presented their work with cadets from the flying selection to all levels of flight training.
The modern Operational Centre Zadar was also opened in 93rd Air Force Base, thanks to the help of the Danish Armed Forces who donated about 80,000.00 euros. Together with representatives of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence, the opening was attended by the Danish Armed Forces delegation led by Colonel Schultz Karsten, a Deputy Commander of the Danish Armed Forces Tactical Command (TACDEN). Colonel Karsten said he was pleased with the equipping of the Centre and with the previous cooperation. On behalf of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Commander Major General Vlado Bagaric, Colonel Marinko Galovic thanked for the donation.
