Exercise LIFT 25 marks the first time that the Logistics Support Battalion of the Support Command (ZzP) and Reservists have worked together
As part of the international military exercise known as Immediate Response 25, reservists carried out tasks as part of the national exercise LIFT 25
The Logistics Regiment reservists of the Support Command concluded their training at the Josip Jović barracks in Udbina on Friday, 6 June 2025, with a ceremonial line-up.
This year’s training of the Logistics Regiment’s ready reserve members holds particular importance as the reservists, along with the active members of the Support Command’s General Logistics Support Battalion, completed tasks for the first time as part of the national exercise LIFT 25, one of several exercises held as part of the global military exercise Immediate Response 25.
The training of reservists, which was a continuation of the regular annual training of CAF reserve units, took place at the 123rd Brigade barracks in Požega and Josip Jović Barracks in Udbina from 24 May to 6 June 2025.
The Commander of the General Logistics Support Battalion, Colonel Bruno špoljar, the Chief of Staff-Deputy Commander of the Logistics Regiment, Lieutenant-Colonel Ivica Kozjak, the Support Command Commander, Colonel Mile Vukičević, the heads and staff of the Support Command Headquarters, and the training providers were present at the ceremonial line-up and award ceremony for the best reservists in the Udbina barracks.
Colonel Mile Vukičević, the Support Command Commander, welcomed the reservists on behalf of the Support Command and thanked them for their motivation and response during the training, as well as for helping to build the CAF reserve component, which, with its active composition, contributes to the security of the Republic of Croatia.
“The Croatian Armed Forces and the Support Command are intensively continuing the training of the reserve component, its equipping and bringing it to a state of readiness, which will complement the professional composition and assist in the implementation of the fundamental tasks of the CAF, such as defending the country and providing assistance to civilian institutions. In order to add to your knowledge and abilities gained during the Homeland War or military service, this year’s training was rigorous.”
Lieutenant-Colonel Ivica Kozjak, the Chief of Staff-Deputy Commander of the Logistics Regiment, commended the reservists for their positive attitude and unity throughout training, as well as for completing all of the tasks that were given to them. He also applauded them for their loyalty.
