Exhibition “Redeemer of the world” in MOD Gallery
Exhibition of paintings, sculptures and intarsia titled “Redeemer of the world” was opened today, March 31, in MOD Gallery “Zvonimir”.
Collective exhibition of three authors (Marija Gagić Đaković, Marijan Glavnik, Željko Palčić) has been set in collaboration between the MOD and the Association “Passion Heritage”, under the programme of 21st Ceremony of Passion Heritage. The association organizes celebrations each year before Easter, as a series of art, music, theatre, literature and folklore themes connected with Christ’s passion and resurrection.
This year they have been sponsored by the Zagreb City Assembly, and last until 4 April 2012.
For the opening of the exhibition, the audience was addressed by President of the Association of “Neighbours” Josip Čikeš, who recalled that cooperation with the Ministry of Defence and the gallery was very successful and lasts for several years.
Exhibited artwork Čikeš described as “a great speech of art on the topic of passion heritage”. On behalf of the Ministry of Defence, Zoran Batušić has expressed satisfaction with cooperation and read a brief review of the exhibition written by Stanko Špoljarić. On behalf of the authors, Marija Gagić Đaković gave a short speech.
The exhibition “Redeemer of the world” can be seen until 19 April 2012 in “Zvonimir” Gallery (Mon-Fri, 10-18 hours). Admission is free.
