First foreign military pilot completed education in the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence
Pilot of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Macedonia, Lieutenant Robert Mitrovski completed today, July 23, training for helicopter pilot in a helicopter squadron (EH) of the 93rd Air Force Base in “Zemunik” Barracks.
In less than two years pilot Mitrovski fully completed Croatian model of training for military pilots in the Bell 206 B Jet Ranger III helicopter, and the specialization for flying teacher and thus gained all flight requirements for independent teaching in the Air Force of the Republic of Macedonia.
Lt. Mitrovski is also the first foreign military pilot who completed education in the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence. Congratulations for his accomplishments and wishes for success in his further development of pilot’s career was given by the Commander of the helicopter squadron of the 93rd Air Base Major Dragan Andrijevic, and on behalf of the Commander of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence Major General Vlado Bagaric, by the Commander of the 93rd Air Base Colonel Miroslav Kovac.
Colonel Kovac recalled the excellent cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Republic of Macedonia, emphasizing that the pilot Mitrovski was the first foreign pilot who has completed training in Croatia.
Lt. Mitrovski thanked all the members of the helicopter squadron for the given support, and especially his teachers. “I had the privilege to learn from the Croatian military pilots. This is a great event for me. Thanks to my teachers and all those who have provided support in education in Croatia. The experience I gained here for me is unique. Likewise, the city of Zadar remains my wonderful life story. In Zadar, I learned to fly and my daughter was born here as well”, pilot Mitrovski said.
