General Lovric attends 20th anniversary of the 102nd Brigade

On this occasion, wreaths were laid and candles lit at the monument of fallen soldiers of 102^nd Brigade in Sisinec Village near Lekenik. The ceremony was attended by members of the 102^nd Brigade, members of the 102^nd Brigade Veterans’ Club, veterans and their families, families of killed and injured members of the brigade, and others.

General Lovric congratulated the present at the ceremony marking the 20^th anniversary of the formation of 102^nd Zagreb brigade on behalf of the Commander in Chief and on behalf of all members of the Croatian Armed Forces. He stressed that members of the brigade witnessed the very beginnings of the Homeland war, and their courage, knowledge and dedication they implanted in a number of operations to liberate the Homeland. He noted that the history of 102^nd Brigade was very bright and that the Armed Forces were proud that in it we still have members of 102^nd Brigade, which took part in defending and preserving the sovereignty of the Republic of Croatia.
