Heer Deputy Commander visits Croatian Armed Forces

He was received by the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, General Drago Lovrić and the Deputy Commander of the Croatian Army, Brigadier General Mladen Fuzul, with whom he reviewed the bilateral co-operation between the Heer and the Croatian Army and the two respective Armed Forces. Lt. Gen. Vollmer delivered a lecture on Lessons Learned from Afghanistan for the staff of the Croatian Defence Academy, and Vice-dean of the Croatian Defence Academy for Co-operation and Development, Colonel Slobodan Čurčija presented the mission, the organisation and the education models administered by the Academy.
Following the lecture and the presentation, Lt. Gen. Vollmer visited the Simulation Centre “Fran Krsto Frankopan” of the Croatian Army’s Training and Doctrine Command and got familiarised with the operation of the General Staff’s Operations Centre.
