IED explosion near the Croatian convoy in northern Afghanistan
In the area of the Regional Command “North” in Mazar-e Sharif in Afghanistan, on Saturday, 5 March 2011, after passing of two vehicles with nine OMLT members of 16th the Croatian contingent who were moving between the two camps, there was an explosion of improvised explosive device (IED) placed along the road.
None of the members of the Croatian Armed Forces who were in the car were not injured, nor were any reported damage to vehicles of “MRAP” type which have been used by the members of the Croatian Armed Forces.
