
Potpredsjednik Vlade RH i ministar obrane Damir Krstičević primio je u ponedjeljak, 12. studenoga 2018. veleposlanika Slovačke Republike Petera Suska u nastupni posjet. Tijekom sastanka potvrđeno je kako su Hrvatska i Slovačka prijateljske zemlje koje imaju izvrsne bilateralne odnose. Incoming visit to Ministry of Defence by Slovak Ambassador
The Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Damir Krstičević received a visit from the incoming Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, H. E. Peter Susko on 12 November 2018.
The Slovakian Ambassadpr and Minister Krstičević affirmed the excellent and friendly bilateral relations between Slovakia and Croatia.
The Croatian and Slovakian armed forces take part jointly in the mission in Afghanistan and in NATO’s Enhanced Forward Presence in the Baltic states. The two countries also co-operate in the pre-deployment training for Air Advisor teams trainining the members of the Afghan National Security Forces, as well as in the Multinational Aviation Training Centre (MATC).
Croatia and Slovakia are also taking part in PESCO projects, and will also participate in the Battlegroup stand-by in the second half of 2019.
Addressing the Croatian defence industry products Minister Krstičević briefed the Ambassador Susko with the prospective Adriatic Sea Defense and Aerospace Conference ASDA 2019 to be held in Split in April 2019.
