Jackal Stone 12 – special operations at sea

The headquarters of the Naval Forces Group South that participate in the exercise is in Split Lora Naval Base, commanded by the Norwegian Commander. Apart form the Croatian and Norwegian forces; Naval Forces Group South is comprised of Lithuanian, Latvian and U.S. Special Forces.

They have been conducting operations of special reconnaissance, surveillance and direct operations at sea, such as the interception of boats and capturing bases, mostly at night.

Combat teams conducting operations are organic, meaning that each team come from just one country, while the headquarters is comprised of representatives from all countries.
