Joint training of CAF and state fire-fighting units
CAF Mi-8 MTV1 helicopter engaged in CAF Fire-fighting Task Force (CAF FF TF) participated today, May 24, in the training activities of the State intervention unit – Split (SIU Split) on Grobnik.
CAF Helicopter crew together with members of the SIU Split practiced landing from the helicopter using fast rope technique, delivering fire-fighting equipment at the fire scene, drawing fire-fighters injured from the fire ring using stretchers, and drawing fire-fighters from fire scene using a four-wire cable.
Joint training of members of CAF FF TF and SIU Split for fire protection activities were planned and implemented based on Program of activities in the implementation of special fire protection measures, which are of interest for the Republic of Croatia in 2012, adopted by the Government.
