Kolinda Grabar Kitarović visited 19th HRVCON on Statehood Day
NATO Assistant Secretary General Kolinda Grabar Kitarović visited on Monday, 25 June 2012, the Croatian Cobra Camp in Kabul, Afghanistan, where she celebrated Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia with the members of the 19th HRVCON.
At a ceremony attended by the representatives of allied and partner contingents in ISAF Ms Grabar Kitarović pointed out that she was proud on the work of members of the Croatian contingent, who have been giving a strong contribution to building the Afghan Security Forces.
Commander of the 19th HRVCON Colonel Tomislav Galić said that Croatia and its soldiers well know what peace means, while having been committed working shoulder to shoulder with allies and partners in building stability and security of Afghanistan.
Following the ceremony Deputy Secretary General presented members of the Artillery Advisory Team and the Air Advisory Team the NATO medals in recognition of successfully completed participation in the ISAF operation.
