Lithuanian pilots completed training in Croatia

The training of the crew of the Lithuanian Air Force completed on Friday, November 9, in the Zemunik Barracks in the Transport helicopter squadron (ETH) of the 93rd Air Force Base.

This is the fifth group of the Lithuanian Air Force helicopter crew who has been trained for the flying in mountainous areas, under the expert supervision of the Croatian pilots, and the training was carried out on Lithuanian helicopter Mi-8 (Mi-17). Lithuanians have chosen Croatia for the lack of mountain areas in their home country, and areas of Velebit and Svilaja provide ideal conditions for flying in mountainous conditions.

Colonel Ivica Mandušić congratulated Lithuanian team for successfully completed training.
