Logistics Exercise held
“Functioning of logistics station in the field conditions and transportation by helicopter” exercise was held in the Centre for Training and Doctrine of Logistics (SzOiDL) on the “Glavica” military training ground near Pozega, on Tuesday, April 27. SzOiDL staff, 9th generation’s students of basic officer training and members of the multi-role helicopter squadron from the 91st Air Force Base “Pleso” with the Mi-171 Sh helicopter participated on the exercise.
During exercise, through 16 operating points, training and qualifications of students of the 9th generation of basic officer training in dealing with the logistics in field conditions and the procedures and practices in transportation of material and personnel by helicopter was shown. The aim of the exercise was to show the structure, composition and organization of field logistics station, transportation of injured and of logistics packages by helicopter, to standardize the organizational scheme and display the actions and procedures in the supply of ground forces in accordance with the requirements on the field as well as organization and transport of injured and wounded in the field conditions. Chief of the exercise was Colonel Miroslav Zelenika, and exercise was attended by Deputy LC Commander Brigadier General Nikola Skunca, SzOiDiL employees, Croatian Military Academy employees, SzOiDiL students and soldiers who are on voluntary military service in Pozega.
