MATC Project Team meeting
The Multinational Aviation Training Centre’s Project Team Operations and Training Working Group met in the Zemunik Barracks on 8 May 2014.
to discuss further steps related to the development of the training curricula (with the emphasis on the curricula defined for 2015) and the respective documentation required for the establishment of the MATC, where the Zemunik Base will be an important pilot training and practice venue.
The meeting participants were from the Croatian, the Czech and the Hungarian Air Force, assisted by the U.S. officers.The meeting marks the progress to the already devised programme of the Air Advisory Team Pre-deployment Training Course, preparing the multinational helicopter crews to mentor the members of the Afghanistan Air Force.
As notified earlier, Multinational Aviation Training Centre has been endorsed and registered into the NATO’s Smart Defence initiative, placing the Zemunik Base among the most relevant institutions responsible for pilot and technician staff training and practice.
