Meeting on fire fighting 2010 season readiness held
A coordination meeting with the aim of consideration on the overall CAF preparedness for 2010 fire fighting season was held on Thursday, May 13, in the CAF Fire fighting Task Force Command in “Knez Trpimir” Barracks in Divulje.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of General Staff for Operations Rear Admiral (UH) Zdenko Simicic, Commander of the FF Task Force Major General Mate Obradovic, Chief of GS Operations and Training Directorate Brigadier General Drago Matanovic, representatives of the National Protection and Rescue Directorate (DUZS) and commanders of fire fighters associations of coastal counties.
The meeting confirmed that everything was ready for the upcoming season, which starts on May 15. Also, it was emphasized the importance of mutual coordination and joint work of all the state authorities.
Major General Mate Obradovic gave a presentation on the tasks conducted by the CAF FF Task Force Command as part of preparations for 2010 fire fighting season.
