Meeting with NATO representatives

Expert consultations with NATO representatives were held in the Ministry of Defence on Friday, April 9, in terms of defence preparations and plans, with special emphasis on the implementation capacity of the Republic of Croatia that has assumed such an obligation as a NATO member.

NATO team was led by Frank Boland, Director for Force Planning in NATO International Staff (IS), while the Croatian delegation, led by the MOD State Secretary Pjer Simunovic, was composed of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Office of the Council of National Security.

Croatian contribution to allied operations, as well as upcoming plans, by which Croatia clearly demonstrated its ability to function as a credible member ready to actively contribute to collective security were particularly commended.
