Military pilot candidates start with officer’s training
Organized by the “Rudolf Perešin” Centre for the training of the Air Force and Air Defence, a camp for cadet-pilots started these days for sending them on basic officer training in the Zemunik Barracks.
This is the first year of this kind of camp for combat aviation, and the students are cadet-pilots of the 18th generation who have been studying within the “Cadet” Project as well as students outside the “Cadet” Project.
In line with the Curriculum for military training and evaluation, cadets will refresh the existing military knowledge and skills and prepare for the effective education on the basic officer’s training. Camp duration is planned by 21 September 2012 after which the cadets and students will be sent to the Officer basic training and advanced flight training on the Bell 206 JR helicopter and PC-9 airplane.
