Minister Bozinovic met Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia

During the meeting, Minister Bozinovic and Ambassador Vukicevic discussed bilateral cooperation so far between the two countries, especially after last year’s signing of the bilateral cooperation between the Croatia and Serbia, and after the meeting of defence ministers. It was pointed out that cooperation in the fields foreseen by the agreement resulted in intensive contacts between the two ministries at the expert level. They also discussed the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the military industries, ie the possibility of joint appearance on foreign markets. In this context, the meeting at the expert level was proposed to discuss possibilities of cooperation in this field as well. The participation of members of armed forces in international peacekeeping missions, with emphasis on the UN mission was discussed, as well as the experience of members of the Croatian Armed Forces in the ISAF peace support operation in Afghanistan in the context of mentoring Afghan forces in the Military Police School, where Croatia is the leading nation.
