Minister Bozinovic signed the Protocol on donation with Denmark

Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic and Military Attaché of the Kingdom of Denmark in Croatia Colonel Soren Knudsen signed today, 16 June 2011, the Protocol on the donation between the Republic of Croatia and the Kingdom of Denmark that provides funds worth around 200,000 kuna for the military and diplomatic training at the Croatian Military College “Petar Zrinski”.

“Military diplomatic training at our Military Academy, as it is known, is the most advanced in this part of Europe. Except for the members of the Croatian Armed Forces, our schools attend members from other countries. We are glad that the contribution and effort that we give at all levels of military training was recognized by NATO, especially in this context by the Kingdom of Denmark”, Minister Bozinovic said.

Minister Bozinovic also upone the end of the mandate of Lieutenant Colonel Knudsen presented the decoration of Order of Croatian Trefoil, which President Josipovic awarded the Colonel Knudsen for outstanding contribution in the development and enhancement of bilateral military cooperation between Croatia and the Kingdom of Denmark. In his address Minister Bozinovic said that Colonel Knudsen during his term in office has given a great contribution in promoting and strengthening bilateral cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, especially in the area of ​​logistics and human resource management through the donations of various development projects of the Croatian Armed Forces. “Colonel Knudsen with his contribution proved true friendship with the Republic of Croatia, and this decoration is thanks for his overall effort to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries”, Minister Bozinovic said.

Danish military attaché Lieutenant Colonel Knudsen expressed satisfaction with the awarded decoration, saying that he dedicate it to all Croatian and Danish members of the armed forces who have contributed to the strengthening of the Croatian-Danish bilateral cooperation, the countries allies in NATO and soon EU partners.
