Minister Bozinovic with students of Officer School

Defence Minister Davor Bozinovic visited today, Saturday, September 10, Croatian Military Academy “Petar Zrinski” and met with 113 students of 11th generation of Basic officer training (TCI), who this week began with their education.

“The system of training that you will experience yourself has been developed and improved in accordance with our needs and the development of the armed forces. It is a challenging, realistic, standardized and focused on the task. Training for participation in international military operations will continue to be adapted to the type of operation, circumstances they have been executed, and the duties and tasks”, the Minister said, among other things, in his address to the participants. “You are that youth, professional and motivated, which brings freshness and new energy in our defence system. You are the proof of the success of projects to attract new staff and 113 students just give us firm belief that it is a man, his ability, experience and knowledge, our strongest point”, Bozinovic said, adding that to be an officer it is not about occupation but a vocation.

Minister Bozinovic was accompanied by the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Lovric and Director of Croatian Military Academy, Major General Mirko Sundov with his associates.
The eleventh generation of the Basic officer school has 113 students, of which 20 percent of women, from the Armed Forces who have met the requirements for becoming officers, then the cadets who have completed the civil-military education, MOD scholars, as well as voluntary conscripts who have completed training and have the necessary requirements for becoming officers of the Armed Forces.
