Minister Buljević visits Vukovar on City Day

Minister Buljević stated that the Croatian Government was committed to the economic recovery of Vukovar and the entire Slavonija, Baranja and West Sirmium. “Our optimism and hope for the future of Vukovar and Croatia rests on this rich region, with hard-working people, the rich cultural heritage and togetherness aimed at creating a better life for all“, said the Minister.
The formal session of the Vukovar City Council  was held at Hrvatski dom on the St. Philip and Jacob Feast Day which is celebrated as the Vukovar City Day. The meriting citizens, institutions, firms and associations were presented with awards and recognitions on the occasion, and the wreaths were laid on the Homeland War Victims Memorial Cemetery in Vukovar.
