Minister congratulates gold rowing medalists
Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović sent a congratulation message to the gold men’s double sculls medalists – the Croatian Armed Forces members Martin and Valent Sinković, winners of the 2014 World Rowing Championships held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from 25-31 August.
“Dear Martin and Valent, on behalf of the members of the Croatian Armed Forces and of the Ministry of Defence, I am congratulating you on the great success of yours, winning the gold medal and the new world’s best time at the 2014 World Rowing Championships. You presented your sport and Croatia and proved your own and the value of rowing in Croatia at the international level. We are proud to have you in our Armed Forces family”.
Martin and Valent Sinković have been active members of the Croatian Armed Forces since March 2011, following the Agreement of Co-operation concluded between the Ministry of Defence and the Croatian Olympic Committee, aimed at promoting and developing sport in the Republic of Croatia.
