Minister Kotromanović and Ambassador of Azerbaijan discussed defence cooperation

Ambassador Khasiyev congratulated Minister Kotromanović on the appointment, saying he hoped that, with earlier opening of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Croatia, and with the soon appointment of Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Azerbaijan, this would reflect on the improvement of cooperation between the two countries on defence plan.

Minister Kotromanović said that he hoped that the military-technical cooperation between the two countries would intensify in the future and proposed the organization of the day of the Croatian military industry in Azerbaijan.

Minister Kotromanović and Ambassador Khasiyev also talked about the situation in the regions of Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as on the activities of the two countries in international peace support missions, with special reference to the ISAF mission in which Azerbaijan and Croatia have members of their armed forces.
