Minister Kotromanović received Ambassador of the Russian Federation

Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović received today, Tuesday, February 14, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Croatia Robert Markaryan and Defence Attaché Colonel Vladimir Čemišov.

Ambassador Markaryan congratulated the Minister on the appointment wishing the Minister and the Croatian Government every success in the work. He stressed that Russia considers Croatia a friendly country with which Russia developed constructive relations and with which Russia have had good bilateral cooperation.

Defence Minister Kotromanović welcomed the Ambassador of the Russian Federation pointing out that there were opportunities for expanding cooperation in military-technical field.

Ambassador Markaryin confirmed the Russian position that the emphasis of the Russian-Croatian relations was on economic cooperation, with a highly developed political cooperation.
