Minister Kotromanović received Finnish Ambassador

Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović, received today, Tuesday, February 28, in the inaugural visit the Ambassador of Finland to the Republic of Croatia, Juha Ottman.

Ambassador Juha Ottman congratulated the Minister on the appointment and said that Finland appreciates Croatian role in the stability of the region. The Ambassador also said that Finland has been also participating in EULEX and KFOR in Kosovo peace support missions.

Minister Kotromanović said that Croatia and Finland have no outstanding issues and stressed the good cooperation between the two countries in defence field, particularly in the area of ​​military technical cooperation. Minister thanked the Ambassador for the given support during the process of Croatian accession to the European Union, and noted the good cooperation in the Nordic battle group of the European Union.

Minister Kotromanović and Ambassador Ottman also talked about the possibilities of a joint presentation of “Patria – Đuro Đaković – Special vehicles” companies on third markets, where Ambassador Ottman appraised the company “Đuro Đakovic – Special vehicles” as a very good partner in the project of production of combat armoured vehicles.
