Minister Kotromanović received German Ambassador

Ambassador Fisher congratulated Minister Ante Kotromanović on his appointment, thanking Croatia for the excellent collaboration with members of the German Armed Forces in peace support operations in Afghanistan and Kosovo.

Defence Minister Ante Kotromanović welcomed German Ambassador emphasizing excellent relations in many areas between our friendly countries. Speaking on the joint participation in peace support operations Minister Kotromanović stressed the commitment of Croatia to the Alliance, and Croatia’s determination to build regional stability by having active role in regional initiatives such as A-5.

The minister thanked for all the support that the Federal Republic of Germany provided to Croatia, since the fight for independence, but also during the European Union accession process. Minister Kotromanović pointed out diversified military technical cooperation. Both sides agreed that in this area there is still room to expand and open new areas of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
