Minister Krstičević meets with the Foreign Minister of Kosovo

The Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Damir Krstičević on 20 February 2017 met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Enver Hoxhaj.

Minister Hoxhaj appreciated the support provided by the Republic of Croatia and its Ministry of Defence to his country in its Euro-Atlantic agenda. The stability and development of Kosovo is of crucial importance for the stability of southeast Europe which is a strategic interest of the Republic of Croatia, and therefore the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia will intensify the co-operation with the Ministry for the Kosovo Security Force in the domain of Euro-Atlantic integration, the preparation of the strategic and planning documents and other functional areas towards a successful transition of the Kosovo Security Force. 

Minister Krstičević and Minister Hoxhaj underlined the need to continue the efforts towards the integration of Kosovo into the regional defence co-operation initiatives.

Both sides praised the course of the co-operation of the two ministries but also agreed on the need for its enhancement.

Minister Krstičević announced his visit to the Republic of Kosovo.
